CONNECTION – HOPE & WISHES – WELCOME HOME
Saturday, 14/3/2015 Weekend 1
CONNECTION – CREATIVITY – SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Pecha Kucha presentation, an very Knowmadic introduction!
Each person has exactly 10 photos and 250 seconds to tell his stoy. (249…248…247…) Each story was told in a unique way. We were so amazed by the diversity of the team. Different experiences, different interest, different challenges, different dreams. But one thing in common: the fire to learn and to create a change.
A fun and interactive session on creativity. “At its most basic, a Third Space is the transfer of information to another human being. But at for its core, a Third Space acts as catalyst for change.” Our students mind-mapped, discussed, and designed a Third Space of their own with the purpose of creating a positive change for the society.
Sunday: 15/3/2015 Weekend 1
ACTIONS – IMAGINATION – INSPIRATION
Paper Clip Challenge, the power of creating values!
Each team was given only a red paper clip. Their mission was to find a way to exchange that seemingly invaluable object for objects with bigger value. Plus, they needed to create the biggest value possible, through as many transaction possible, with real people (a.k.a. strangers!) out side the class room. A real challenge for a Sunday morning. But all teams came back with amazing results, stories, and, most important of all, lessons.
Story Telling & Inspiration, by Paul Zetter, photographer, film maker, educator.
In this session, we learned about how story telling can creates empathy, and how important imagination is in defining the future. Paul Zetter inspired us with his soul-stretching stories, and amazing ability to touch the heart of the audience through each sentence, word, sound, and image.
